A new girl for Robert Pattinson
After being paired with Kirsten Stewart in Twilight, Emilie de Ravin in Remember Me, and big star Resse Witherspoon in Water for Elephants, Robert Pattinson has a new leading lady.
Caught on the set of the new upcoming movie Cosmopolis, Robert Pattinson pairs up with Sarah Gadon, who will be portraying the role of Elise Shifrin, Pattinson’s character’s wife. Cosmopolis is a film adaptation of the novel by Pulitzer Prize nominee, Don DeLillo.
Robert Pattinson will be playing the role of a 28-year old multi-billionaire, who makes an adventurous journey across midtown Manhattan to get a haircut and in the end, finds himself in ruins.
The film is said to be mostly filmed at the backseat of a limousine, where most of the thoughts and insights of the lead character come together.
Starring with Pattinson is Lost alumni, Kevin Durand, Emmy Award winner Paul Giamatti, Canadian actor Jay Baruchel, multiple film awardee Juliette Binoche and Young Artist Award nominee Sarah Gadon. Among others working with Pattinson are Samantha Morton, Emily Hamsphire, Mathieu Amalric, and Jadyn Wong. Maria Juan Garcias however, is rumored to play the role of Nina Brooks, but no official announcement has been made.
Directed by David Cronenberg, Cosmopolis is one drama to watch out for in 2012, with interplay of sex, love, violence, global market issues and death, all in one.
