January 30th 2008 - Technology Policy Exhibition on Captiol Hill

The Digital Freedom Campaign on January 30 attended the Technology Policy Exhibition on Capitol Hill organized by the Advisory Committee to the Congressional Internet Caucus.  Along with Black Turtle Media we advocated for updating copyright and fair use laws in order to foster innovative developments in this digital age and illustrated a current example of how new digital technologies can foster creativity and innovation when unrestricted by unreasonable government restrictions.

Digital technologies allow everyone the freedom to be artists, innovators, producers and creators, and to listen, watch, and participate wherever, whenever and however they choose. That freedom must be protected and nurtured.
