Review: American muscle cars and customized roadsters with shiny 22” rims are only half of what makes this film worth watching. If you happen to be a speed devil or an adrenalin “junkie” at heart then Fast and Furious 4 is the film fit for you. It is a sequel of the original motion picture and is the fourth installment of the series. Most reviewers would argue that this was the only sequel to the first film and the others simply deviated from the main story. This is probably why the motion picture received mixed ratings from different critics.
It is worth mentioning that this was the first installment to reunite the tandem of Diesel and Walker after their absence in most of the second and third films. Once again, we witnessed their tremendous chemistry on screen that it radiated to the outcome of the motion picture. Both premier actors complemented each other well and were the reason why the film propelled to become a high grosser internationally. The supporting cast was also not short of being great and talented.
The unique blend of hip-hop and trendy urban beats that became a trademark of the franchise did not fail to capture the audiences’ interest as top music artists were commissioned to perform their craft in the film. The musical director was able to do a great job in fitting the tracks to the high-speed action sequences.
Just like its predecessors, the daring car chase scenes were masterfully filmed and the cameras were relatively still that it will surely eliminate screen-induced headache.
