Review: One of the most fundamental reasons for the monumental critical acclaim won by the movies in the Mission Impossible series include the action sequences which tend to boggle the viewers’ mind because of its innovativeness. This movie is no different and in fact it even has the high and sophisticated technology element added into it as we see Ethan Hunt employing the use of various types of futuristic techniques in his quest to clear the organization’s name. We see glimpses of Ethan jumping off moving cars, carrying out his spy activities and dangling from the Burj Khalifa as a vital ingredient of action which is the most exciting feature of the movie.
Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol features locations from Prague, Vancouver, Dubai and Moscow. The composition of the rogue team that is designed to assume the responsibility of clearing the organization’s name is rather an interesting one. Brandt (Jeremy Renner) is the most mysterious of the lot who possesses inside information about the life of Ethan Hunt. Benji Dunn (played by Simon Pegg) and Jane Carter (played by Paula Patton) play an indispensable part of the team in their own capacity. Tom Cruise once again takes on the mantle of being the super-spy Ethan Hunt, with wits and intelligence, entrusted with the enormous duty on his shoulders and a personalized task to complete.
On the whole, Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol is an intriguing film to watch with a fair share of plot twists, turns, heart-pulsating yet not-so-realistic action. Thus the movie is a wild ride where one should just enjoy the story and the explosions while they last in the name of entertainment which this movie has.
